Galapagos Poem

By Joe Toback
January, 6, 2003

Blue-footed soul.
Volcanic eruptive life changing.
Laughing sea lion whisker bubbles
Sharks glide by towards azure depths.
Iguana pools beneath restless albatross wings.
Sea foam frigates following.
Evolving surges,
Darwinistic feeding frenzies.

This poem was written by Joe Toback - MTS poet and kayaking guide extraordinaire - and mailed from post office barrel on Floreana Island in April 2002.
