Day 5 - Day trip to Shark Island to snorkel one of the world’s most spectacular drop-offs.
Day 6 - Kayak along coral reefs and sandy islets to a WWII fighter plane sunk in 20 feet of water. Enter Vonavona Lagoon by motor canoe and have lunch at a homestead. Continue to Lola Island.
Days 7-8 - Paddle along a chain of islets to Kundukundu Island. En route, stop at Skull Island where, on a large stone cairn the bones of local chieftains and their headhunting victims are displayed. Snorkel the drop offs of nearby Shark Point and join in traditional dances with local people who come to celebrate with us.
Day 9 - Paddle to Hapei Reef off of Rendova Island and camp on one of the islands that were the home base for John F. Kennedy’s unit in WWII.
