Our whitewater rafting adventures on Idaho’s Middle Fork can only be described one way: its six days of pure fun! It the takes you on a thrilling roller coaster ride down North America's premier wilderness river, where you'll raft 100 rapids in 100 miles. An especially beautiful river, The Middle Fork was one of the original rivers in the 1968 Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, and is the centerpiece of Idaho’s 2.2 million acre River of No Return Wilderness, the largest wilderness in the Lower 48. Traveling through the heart of this wild and incredibly scenic region is a wonderful, relaxing experience, with the noise of civilization drowned out by the sounds of the river (and your own shouts of excitement).
 

And the fun doesn't stop at the river's edge. You’ll enjoy hiking up side canyons, catching glimpses of wildlife from bighorn sheep to black bears, relaxing in natural hot springs, fly-fishing to your heart's content (catch-and-release only), and encountering the past, from old pioneer homesteads to Sheepeater Shoshone Indian pictographs. On lower-water departures (usually June–September) you'll also have the exhilarating option of self-propelled fun through the rapids in a “duckie” inflatable kayak.
