Los Cerritos Beach, near the laid-back artists' community of Todos Santos, is one of the world's best places for learning to surf, with gentle waves and a smooth, sandy bottom. In fact, National Geographic named surfing here as one of their top adventures for 2012! Add in lessons from one of the region's most renowned instructors, and you'll be hanging ten in no time. We've put together a fantastic itinerary that includes yoga classes and surf instruction each morning, and a fun activity each afternoon—luxurious massages, sunset rides on the beach, gallery-hopping in Todos Santos—followed by a fabulous meal each evening. There's even a Mexican cooking class (where you'll learn to make the perfect margarita!).  Mid-week, you'll spend a day snorkeling and playing with sea lion pups—a truly incredible experience. This ladies-only getaway is ideal for mothers and daughters, sisters, groups of friends, or all of the above—so gather your best girls and strengthen your bonds as you learn new skills together under the Baja sun.

BRIEF Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive in Cabo

  Upon arrival in San Jose del Cabo you will be transferred to the "pueblo magico" of Todos Santos (90 minute drive). We´ll have our welcome dinner and briefing at the famed Hotel California.

• Day 2 : Surf at Los Cerritos Beach

  Start your day with a homemade breakfast, followed by pre-surf yoga at your hillside resort overlooking at the sea.  Begin your surfing lesson with our instructors and they guarantee that you'll ride the waves - at least for a moment - during your very first lesson!

• Day 3 : Surf at Los Cerritos Beach

  After breakfast and yoga, the surfing lessons will continue.  Early afternoon we'll have a magnificent massage and later on we'll get ready for special Baja treats just for you prepared by Chef Sergio at La Casita Tapas & Wine Bar.

• Day 4 : Swiming with the Sea Lions

  Today we take a break from surfing for a truly incredible experience, snorkeling and playing with the sea lion pups at the permanent sea lio colony of Los Islotes.  90 minute drive to/from La Paz.  Today is Pizza Night!  We'll pick up some terrific Italian pizzas at Il Giardino's and have dinner around the pool.

• Day 5 : Surfing ang Mexican Cooking Lessons

  After our morning activities, yoga and continue with our sufing lessons, we'll stroll around the streets of Todos Santos and visit some of the Artist's Galleries.  Today we'll learn to make a great margarita and learn to cook some of their famous dishes.  Pay attention because you have to eat what you make!

• Day 6 : Our last surfing lesson

  We expect that by now, surfing has become easier and you are able to ride some waves.  This afternoon you will be pampered with another magnificent massage.  Is there such a thing as too many massages on vacations? Absolutely not!. We'll have our farewell dinner at Michael's at the Gallery.  An incredibly delicious meal prepared specially for you by Todos Santos artist, sculptor and chef, Michael Cope.

• Day 7 : Depart

  This morning we'll transfer you to Los Cabos Airport.

  Los Colibris Casitas was made for nature lovers seeking beauty and tranquility. Each of its casas and casitas has a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean, a freshwater estuary, and a palm grove oasis to the front, and the Sierra de la Laguna mountains to the side and back. From your casa you can watch the fishermen cast their nets on the beach in the early morning light, wait for the green flash of a magnificent Baja sunset in the late afternoon, and enjoy the vast expanse of a star-filled sky at night. Boogie boards and mountain bikes available for guest use.
