From Split to Dubrovnik, kayaking and cruising the hidden coves of the islands of Dalmatia. Now SAVE $1000—see below!
Book by May 31, 2012 and Save $1000 off the regular Land/Cruise Cost!*
See Dalmatia’s pristine islands at their most intimate and rewarding: cruising for seven nights aboard a traditional wooden gulet. We’ll visit the region’s best places—like Hvar, renowned as one of the world’s 10 most beautiful islands. Or the lush island of Mljet, where mythic hero Odysseus is said to have taken refuge. Wander the cobbled streets of UNESCO-protected Dubrovnik and see Diocletian’s Palace in Split. Each day we’ll have the option to kayak the islands’ remote coves and hidden bays, or explore secluded monasteries and medieval villages. We’ll taste the best of Southern Croatia’s local cuisine—from seafood risotto, stuffed squid and brodetto to a rich array of local wines and bevanda—a flavor-rich, traditional Croatian red wine. From island to island, we’ll sail to areas inaccessible by foot, and well off the beaten path of most tourists—landscapes of pine forests, lavender and rosemary fields, dramatic seaside cliffs, and the crystalline Adriatic.
