Day 1 : Arrive Cairo & Transfer to Hotel
Ahlan wa sahlan! Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival you will be met by a Mountain Travel Sobek representative and transferred to your hotel nearby the airport. Check in and enjoy the day at your leisure.
Day 2 : Fly to Aswan and tour the sites, incuding the Temple of Philae, High Dam, & Unfinished Obelisk as well as a hike to the Tomb of the Nobles and felucca sailing to the first cataract
This morning you transfer to the airport where you will board your departing flight to Aswan. Upon arrival you will visit the Temple of Philae and Aswan's High Dam before boarding your Nile cruise. You will then tour the Unfinished Obelisk, hike to the Tomb of the Nobles, and sail to the first cataract on your felucca.
Day 3 : Sail to Kom Ombo for a visit and then sail to Edfu
This morning you will sail to Kom Ombo. After lunch you will visit the Temple and continuie your cruise to Edfu.
Day 4 : Touring in Edfu & Luxor
This morning you will visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Continue to Luxor via the Esna Locks and tour the Temple of Luxor and the Temple of Karnak where you will enjoy a Sound & Light Show by bicycle.
Day 5 : Tour West Bank Sites & Hike in the Valley of the Kings
This morning visit the classical sites of the West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings where you will enjoy a hike, Deir El Medina, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Valley of the Queens. You will overnight in your hotel in Luxor this evening.
Day 6 : Fly to Cairo & Enjoy New Year's Eve
Bid farewell to Luxor and transfer to the airport where you will board your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo you will be met and transferred to your deluxe hotel accommodation - the remainder of the evening is at your leisure to enjoy New Year's Eve festivities!
Day 7 : Cairo City & Pyramids Tour
Begin today with visits to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and Great Pydamids of Giza with the Sphinx. After lunch you will tour the sites of Old Cairo before returning to your hotel for the evening.
Day 8 : Tour Dahshur, Memphis & Saqqara
Enjoy your final day in Egypt touring the ancient sites of Dahshur, famous for its Bent Pyramid, the former capital of Memphis, and the Step Pyramid of Zoser.
Day 9 : Depart
Transfer to the airport where you will board your flight home.

She has lead and guided many VIP guests such as Hollywood stars, American Congressmen, as well as Ambassadors and CEOs of Banks and Multinational Companies.Heba lived in Bayonne, New Jersey in the US from the period of '01 to '06 accompanying her son and daughter during their studies at Rutgers University. During her stay in the US, she gave lectures about Egyptology as a guest speaker at some schools. Heba has also volunteered as an interrupter/translator for nonprofit organizations hosting immigrants and refugees from the Arab world.
Salah has over 26 years of professional experience guiding American clients throughout Egypt. He is an active lecturer on archaeology and Egyptology in both the public and private sectors. Salah has also escorted journalists and editors of renowned travel magazines, which resulted in major publicity campaigns to the country An ex-national runner, Salah was the Egyptian National Champion from 1978-1984. Married with 3 children, Salah is very much a family man who also enjoys reading, writing, and traveling.

In addition to guiding for Mountain Travel Sobek, she has also lead trips for specialized groups from the British Museum, the Royal Ontario Museum, the Smithsonian Museum, the Chicago Museum, and the Boston Museum. Lilian is an avid lecturer on the history of Ancient Egypt as well as the fascinating current events happening in Egypt today.
Sherif is one of the most well-known guides in Egypt. He has guided celebrities like George Lucas, Naomi Campbell, and Valentino in addition to special interest groups as well as Mountain Travel Sobek. Sherif has a diploma in Ancient Egyptian History & Art from Helwan University, and he is a Certified Life Coach by the "Yes U Can" Institute from Canada. He is an avid lecturer at the Guide Syndicate in Cairo, and his interests include sports, reading, and the fine arts.
