About the Expert: Graham Ottley

Born and raised in the Midwest, Graham Ottley escaped to the mountains by way of sea kayaks in Ketchikan Alaska. With a degree in Outdoor Education and Environmental Studies, he naturally took to guiding, including leading youth education trips for a time. His first visit to the Yosemite area wrote the region indelibly in his mind as he was awestruck by the beauty of the Valley – so much so that even after guiding around the Americas, he’s called it home since 2016.
