Day 1
Welcome to Bozeman, Montana a historic gateway town on the edge of forest and mountain wilderness. Upon arrival in Bozeman, take a complimentary shuttle transfer to the hotel. Meet up with the group for orientation and a welcome dinner.
Accommodation: Best Western Plus GranTree
Ideally located just one mile from historic downtown Bozeman, the Best Western Plus GranTree Inn, features comfortable accommodations. The Inn also offers a complimentary airport and local shuttle, indoor pool and hot tub and an onsite restaurant and cocktail lounge.

Day 2
Rise for breakfast and head south to Yellowstone with a quick stop at the historic Roosevelt Arch — the park's original entrance — on the way. An exciting afternoon awaits as you explore the steaming terraces of Mammoth Hot Springs. Be on the lookout for elk and bison. Then head to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone to view Upper and Lower Falls, and hike a scenic trail along the rim of the canyon. In the evening check into your park accommodations for the next two nights.

The Explorer Cabins at Yellowstone combine the charm of cabin lodging and are perfect for family and friends traveling together. Clustered in five distinct camp settings, the Explorer Cabins encompass a 50-cabin property in the heart of West Yellowstone. Each private cabin boasts stylish décor, fine linens, a flat-screen TV and a kitchenette for whipping up your favorite meals. Wi-Fi is available in the cabins and throughout the property. While there is no television or air conditioning at the property, internet is available in some public spaces. Canyon Village features a variety of dining options as well as the Canyon Visitor Education Center which focuses on Yellowstone's infamous supervolcano.

Day 3
After breakfast, head out to explore some of Yellowstone's 10,000 geothermal features, including the iconic Old Faithful geyser, with its predictable eruptions every 60 to 110 minutes. Then see bubbling mudpots and steamvents, and be awestruck by a Technicolor wonderland of hot springs and the spectacular Grand Prismatic Spring. Along the way, spot abundant wildlife in the striking sub-alpine Hayden Valley, home to bison, elk, moose, bears, eagles, and wolves.

After graduating from Texas Tech University, Michael traveled throughout Western Europe, Asia, Australia, and South and Central America. However, his heart always belonged to the open roads and national parks of the United States, and he began tour guiding in California 15 years ago. Michael has operated coast-to-coast camping and lodging tours in the US and Canada, and he now migrates between Alaska and the great North American deserts. Michael believes that the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Death Valley, and all the lovely arches, salt flats, and ghost towns in between are some of the most special places on Earth.

You should stay at least 100 yards away from bears and wolves and at least 25 yards away from other large mammals.
What kind of physical shape do I need to be in for this trip?
Regular exercise before any outdoors trip will add to your enjoyment, but this trip is geared towards anyone in good health and an active lifestyle.
What wildlife do you typically see?
We often see bison, moose, elk, mule deer, coyotes, trumpeter swans, and bald eagles throughout the year. Each new season brings a wide variety of mammal and birds species and on any given day.
