Client Services Position

• Provide timely, thorough, and solicitous service to clients after they have booked one of our trips, following up on client pre-trip documentation and answering questions
• Strong administrative skills, keeping track of multiple documents and pre-trip requirements
• Professional and courteous communication with clients and excellent follow through
• Able to work well under pressure, juggling multiple priorities and tight timing constraints
• Comfortable working with numbers and light accounting
• Work closely with outfitters to request and confirm extra services, hotels, extensions, etc.
• Big picture approach – ability to prioritize client needs and work across departments to fulfill requests

Program Director Position

• Develop and manage trips: itineraries, budgets, guides, vendors, quality assurance
• Oversee regional team, including Sales and Client Services
• Experience in the travel industry, with responsibility for fine-tuning existing trips and developing new trips from scratch
• Ability to work with dozens of vendors remotely, ensuring the highest standards in trip quality
• Excellent people skills as liaison between office and guides/vendors
• Good negotiator and strong relationship builder
• Ability to manage multiple critical deadlines for various departments
• Creativity in designing trips and developing promotions
• Experience conducting competitive and regional trend analyses—a thought leader in a region’s travel trends and consumer interests
• Creative solutions for changing markets
• Develop and manage trip operating budgets
• Understanding of trip economics: yield, profits, volume, cost, set prices
• Take the lead on a high level, custom sales as appropriate
• Participate in development of sales training and marketing materials

Sales Position

• Proven experience in generating and nurturing leads, developing rapport with clients, and closing sales via email and on the phone
• History of meeting and exceeding sales goals
• Quick learner – able to master trip knowledge for multiple trips and regions
• Personal experience traveling, especially in active/adventure travel
• Deep knowledge and passion about adventure travel, especially for a particular destination
• Natural curiosity, enthusiasm, and initiative for learning about destinations and cultures
