Nepal Adventure Tours

Choose from our range of incredible adventures in Nepal, all expertly guided and carefully designed for an unforgettable vacation.

The MT Sobek Experience

MT Sobek pioneered commercial Nepal adventure tours and travel in 1969. In fact, our Everest Base Camp Trek inspired us to coin the term “adventure travel.” Our long-established networks provide us with insider access to this once-forbidden land. We have the smallest groups and the best guides and lodges, and we offer itineraries for everyone from hard-core trekkers to cultural enthusiasts. On your journey, you’ll enjoy an immersive experience as you explore hidden places and meet local people. We also make sure that you eat great food and sleep well in comfortable accommodations, while we take care of the logistics every step of the way.

Expert Guides

Our hiking adventures in Nepal are guided by local professional guides, who are highly trained in safety procedures and follow Leave No Trace principles. As well as being fun and friendly, they’ll give you an immersive, insider experience—both on and off the beaten path. Many are so popular that people return to hike with them year after year!

On the Trail

There is nothing better than being out on the trail, feeling the breeze on your face and the rush of a spectacular view. Hiking days generally start early, after breakfast, and cover around 3 to 10 miles per day. Some days may include steep mountain paths, but there are plenty of rest stops on the way—plus a hearty lunch and dinner (per your itinerary).

There are many great ways to explore Nepal on foot. Himalayan Passages and Save the Tiger both include Nepal within broader itineraries.
