Position: Adventure Coordinator
Reporting to: Director of Sales & Guest Services
Location: San Francisco Bay Area – Emeryville, California (Potential for Remote)
Term: Full-Time
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an Adventure Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional post-sale guest services and ensuring a seamless trip experience for MT Sobek travelers. You’ll anticipate guest needs, provide proactive solutions, and support logistics to create personalized, worry-free adventures.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Answer trip-related questions via phone and email, and book additional services.
• Collect guest information, review online forms, and process payments.
• Coordinate and send pre-trip and final travel documents.
• Follow up on post-trip evaluations to ensure feedback is captured.
• Offer trip extensions, add-ons, and extra services.
• Support Program Directors with logistics and reservations in the field.
• Generate and distribute guest reports for field staff.
• Provide backup coverage for other team members as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and international vendors/teammates to ensure smooth logistics and excellent guest experience.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of guest communications.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in an international travel company.
• Experience coordinating private and group guests on multi-day itineraries.
• Strong customer service background, with proven ability to support and engage guests.
• Extensive personal travel background; hiking, trekking, and rafting experience a plus.
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM or similar platforms (e.g., Salesforce).

• Administrative skills with experience tracking and managing documents.
• Familiarity with computer reservation systems and phone systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and comfort with technology.
• Enthusiasm for MT Sobek, with a positive, flexible, can-do attitude.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus opportunities tied to individual, team performance and guest satisfaction.
• Salary Range: $60,000 to $65,000 based on relevant industry experience and past performance. Compensation is based on in-person work at our Emeryville, CA headquarters. For remote-eligible roles, compensation may be adjusted based on the candidate’s location to ensure equity and market alignment.
