Taking Over an Existing Reservation

Mountain Travel Sobek understands the value travel advisors bring to the booking experience. If you’re a valid IATA advisor and your client booked within the past 14 days, you can be added to their reservation. To do so, simply provide written documentation from the client confirming your role in securing the trip and requesting your involvement. Once added, all future trip communications will flow through you, ensuring a smooth and collaborative process for everyone involved.

For returning guests who previously booked with an advisor, we’ll inquire about your continued involvement. We respect your client’s choice, so whether they wish to keep you on board or manage their booking directly, we’ll accommodate their preference.

Discounting & Rebating

Mountain Travel Sobek maintains consistent pricing across all channels, so advisors and agencies cannot offer discounts. We prioritize a fair experience for all travelers and don’t provide exclusive guest perks for advisor bookings. To show appreciation to clients who book directly, consider a personal thank you gift or gift card.

Transferring a Booking Between Agencies

Mountain Travel Sobek will not transfer one agency reservation to another agency without written permission from the original booking agency’s owner or manager.
