Santa Monica Mountains Community Day Hike with Mountain Travel Sobek

Fall is here and we are heading to the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area for a free community hike on November 18, 2017. Following expert guide John Baston, we'll take a 6-mile loop hike (with a 1686' elevation gain) on the Sandstone Peak and Mishe Mokwa trails reaching the tallest point in the southern section of the coastal range mountains at 3,111. Enjoy sweeping views of the range as you hike on well-maintained trails through California sagebrush and bay laurel.
