Personal Testimony at Yellowstone National Park

We’ve asked our Program Director for Latin America, Sharman F. to share a cherished memory she had at the Old Faithful Geyser:

Waking up early at Old Faithful Snow Lodge and walking over to see the sunrise, I was amazed that the rising sun was just behind the Old Faithful Geyser. Moments later, the famous geyser erupted, spewing steam high into the air with the glowing orange orb of the sun oscillating between lighting up the steam from behind or peaking around one side of the steam column. Afterwards, with a hot cup of coffee in hand, I walked the boardwalks of the Upper Geyser Basin as steam from the geysers created an otherworldly atmosphere in the early morning light. Highly recommend at least one overnight near Old Faithful so you can catch the magic of sunrise there!
