Adventure Confidently

Your health and well-being are always a priority while traveling with MT Sobek. While every adventure brings new places, people, and experiences, we know that occasional illness can happen on the road. A little preparation and common sense can help you feel confident, comfortable, and ready to enjoy your trip.

Before You Go

Before and during your adventure, we encourage you to take the same preventive steps you would use for any active journey: stay hydrated, eat well, wash your hands frequently, get plenty of rest, and pack any personal health items that help you travel with confidence. This may include preferred medications, masks, hand sanitizer, or other comfort items.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend reviewing and considering travel protection options before departure, especially for coverage related to illness, injury, delays, or unexpected changes to your plans. All guests are subject to the payment and cancellation terms agreed to at the time of reservation. If you choose to postpone or cancel an operable trip due to illness, the standard cancellation terms for your booking will apply. Please refer to your invoice for the terms and conditions specific to your reservation.

Regional Entry Requirements

Some destinations may have specific health, vaccination, visa, or entry requirements. Your Adventure Coordinator will share any known requirements closer to your departure, and we also recommend checking official destination guidance before you travel.

On Your Trip

If you begin to feel unwell during your trip, please take care of yourself and be considerate of your fellow travelers. Depending on your symptoms, this may mean resting, stepping back from group activities, or giving others extra space until you feel better. We encourage everyone to make thoughtful decisions based on their personal comfort and the well-being of the group.

If another guest appears to be unwell, you are welcome to take any personal precautions that make you feel more comfortable, such as wearing a mask, washing your hands more frequently, or keeping a little extra distance when possible. Our team and guides will continue to follow any destination-specific requirements and will help support a respectful group environment.
