I’ve never slept better in coach class – trtl Travel Pillow for Neck Support- Super Soft Neck Pillow with Shoulder Support and Cozy Cushioning Lightweight and Easy to Carry. – Massimo P. MT Sobek President & CEO
Pros: Super Soft, Lightweight, Washable, & Easy to Carry

The Rumpl Travel Blanket is small, light and multi-use! Literally it’s the size of a water bottle so takes up very little space for the amount of “creature comfort” that this item can add to any adventure. You can use it as a pillow in the bag, as an over-blanket for a nap or as an under-blanket for a trailside picnic and more. Fun colors, too! – Jen C. MT Sobek Custom Trip Operations
Pros: Packable, Multi-Use Purposes
I keep my Black Diamond Spot 400 Headlamp at the ready on all my adventures. Whether I’m embarking on a pre-dawn hike, fumbling around in the middle of the night on a bathroom run, or searching for a dropped item down a dark crevice, my headlamp always comes in handy when I need it most. – Steph D. MT Sobek Trip Consultant
Pros: Ergonomic, Rechargeable

This Merino Wool Long-Sleeve wears well, keeps you warm, does not smell and is easy to wash and dry in the field. – Tom L. MT Sobek Chairman of the Board
Pros: Year-Round, 100% Merino Wool

These Air Tags are great for tracking luggage in the event it gets lost you’ll know where it is and communicate with Airline staff. Similarly, if a daypack gets left behind you can easily figure out where you left it and retrieve it. Thankfully I have not had to use these but the peace of mind is well worth the price! – Katie S. MT Sobek Operations Assistant
See on the Eagle Creek Store
This Eagle Creek Pack-It Starter set has made packing so much easier for me – I feel so much more organized knowing which cube each of my belongings is in. The garment folder is great for larger clothing items (such as sweaters and jackets), the medium-sized cube is the perfect size for all of my pants and shorts, and the small packing cube fits all of my tops. Unorganized packing, no more! – Tara B. MT Sobek Trip Consultant
Pros: Organizational, Compact

I love bringing my Rainleaf Microfiber Travel Towel whenever I go on overnight weekend trips or travel anywhere. It’s so easy to fit inside my luggage and when I use it I can leave it out overnight to dry. It’s microfiber so it dries fast! I bought it once for a overnight trip because I had to pack really light, and I loved that it’s lightweight, very compact, very absorbent, and has fast drying. I definitely recommend adding this to your travel gear!. – Grace P. MT Sobek Marketing Coordinator
Pros: Lightweight, Compact, Easy to Dry

This has saved me on long treks–charging my phone (which is my camera), a Garmin InReach and my activity tracker watch! On our Everest Base Camp Trek, where many lodges turned off the power at night, it even helped my fellow trip mates, as I could charge during the day while hiking! – Julie M. MT Sobek Asia & Middle East Program Director
Pros: Essential, Compact

These Howard Leight Earplugs are an essential item on my packing list for any road trip! I always need earplugs (or bring them just in case) when I sleep overnight at camps in case there are people snoring near me. I also like how they are squishy and fit in my ears nicely!. – Grace P. MT Sobek Marketing Coordinator
Pros: Essential, Stays on Your Ears
See on the Moleskine Store
There’s always a need for a small journal or sketchpad when you’re on the road. My go-to brand is always the Moleskin Traveller’s Journal, a little more on the expensive side, but the paper is buttery-soft and quality holds up to wear-and-tear. Moleskin has standard notebooks or passion journals for more directed content creation based on certain themes and interests. – Jen C. MT Sobek Custom Trip Operations
Pros: High Quality, Small

As an avid birdwatcher and wildlife lover, I won’t go anywhere without my Nikon Trailblazer ATB Waterproof Binoculars. I need a closer look at all the wonders I encounter while adventuring — from spotting mountain goats and wildflowers on day hikes in the Pacific Northwest to scouting out the infamous Big Five on safari in Africa. – Steph D. MT Sobek Trip Consultant
See on Smith Optics
Don’t forget to keep your eyes protected – you won’t catch me outside without sunglasses. Tried and true, my most favorite brand is Smith Optics. From the clean, classic designs to the fit and integration of lens and frames, Smith has you covered – quite literally! Various sunglass options, prescription available, too – there’s a shade for all. – Jen C. MT Sobek Custom Trip Operations
